A student
exchange program was organized by Kalkander between the
secondary schools of Kalkan and

students attended classes at a Butzbach secondary school
and learned about German culture through daily trips to
museums, parks, towns and various sights. Flights
were provided by Sun Express and transportation and
various expenses were organized and sponsored by
Kalkander through money raised by selling donated items
