A splendid historic Kalkan building that remained unused for many years has finally been opened through the efforts of Kalkander and the Kas Governor. Called the ‘Kalkan Culture House’, many art exhibitions will be held here, if possible all year round. The board of Kalkander has also planned  that the house will be used as place for art classes and workshop for the local children as well as a summer school by the Chamber of Architects.
